Cliff Cornell
Active Board Member
Cliff Cornell serves as an active board member for the Warrior Reunion Foundation (WRF). Since the organization’s inception, Cliff and his family have supported WRF’s mission by volunteering at reunions throughout the country and still host them at their family-owned Farm in Southold, Long Island, where it all began. His unwavering commitment to the U.S. military and its veterans traces back to his experiences on September 11, 2001, when he worked Downtown and tragically lost many colleagues and friends.
Cliff’s connection with WRF began when he met James Ferguson, the CEO and founder, at the Marine Corp Scholarship fundraising event. James expressed his desire to reconnect with the Marines he had served alongside in Afghanistan, and Cliff and James took it upon themselves to facilitate that reunion.
On Memorial Day 2015, Cliff hosted James’s unit at his Farm in Southold Long Island, an event that left a profound impact and ultimately inspired the vision behind the Warrior Reunion Foundation. To this day, Cliff remains actively involved, contributing to the organization’s mission of reuniting combat veterans and Gold Star Families.
