Scout Snipers Platoon 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines | Coyote Hunt

Over a February weekend the combat veterans of Scout Snipers Platoon 2nd Battalion 5th Marines reunited in the Oregon wilderness. These Marine snipers deployed multiple times in support of the Global War on Terror. While in Oregon they put their marksmanship skills, learned and honed in the Marine Corps, to use by assisting local ranchers with controlling the local coyote population.

They had an opportunity to further show the local community that service does not end after the military when a rancher needed assistance with one of their cattle. The weekend was built around our pillar of service and included wellness and camaraderie through reconnection.
